FortuneKid
This policy applies only to the mobile games listed in the table below, published by Fortune Kid Inc. (“Fortune Kid,” “we,” “us”), a company registered in New Jersey, USA. The table also shows what each game collects.
| Game | App identifier | Data collected |
|---|---|---|
| Hua (iOS) | com.fortunekid.harmonica | None |
Each game is referred to below as “the game.” If we release a game whose practices differ from what is described here, that game will have its own separate privacy policy, and the link supplied with it in the app store will point to that policy instead.
Nothing else is covered by this policy. In particular, it does not cover this website, any online platform or social product we may release, any merchandise store, or third-party services you may reach outside our games, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those are governed by their own separate policies.
Our games do not collect, store, transmit, sell, rent, or share any personal information. In particular, they do not collect:
Because we collect nothing, there is no personal information for us to lose, misuse, disclose, or hand over to anyone else.
We make music games, so players sometimes ask whether a game listens to them play or sing. It does not. All performance input is made through on-screen touch controls. Our games contain no microphone code, never request microphone permission, and never record audio from your surroundings. The same is true of the camera and of location services.
A game saves your progress locally on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This save file contains only gameplay state, such as:
This data is written using the standard local storage provided by your device’s operating system and stays inside the game’s own storage container. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we have no ability to read it. It is not linked to your identity, and it does not contain any personal information.
You can erase this data at any time by deleting the game from your device. Note that, like any app’s local storage, it may be included in the encrypted device backups you make through iCloud, Google, or your computer. Those backups are handled entirely by the platform that provides them, under that platform’s own privacy policy, and remain inaccessible to us.
Our games are built with the Unity engine and the Wwise audio engine from Audiokinetic. Both are used purely as on-device software for rendering graphics and playing sound; neither is configured to send data anywhere. Unity Analytics, Unity Ads, Unity in-app purchasing, Unity crash reporting, and Unity performance reporting are all disabled in our builds.
Our games contain no advertising networks, no attribution or measurement SDKs, and no social-media SDKs. They do not display ads and do not offer in-app purchases.
When you download, buy, or update one of our games, the app store handles that transaction under its own privacy policy, not this one — see Apple’s Privacy Policy or Google’s Privacy Policy. The stores provide us with aggregated, anonymous reports on downloads, regions, and device types. These reports never identify individual users, and we cannot use them to contact or re-identify anyone.
Our games carry a 4+ age rating and are suitable for players of all ages, including young children. They are not listed in the App Store Kids Category or in Google Play’s Designed for Families program.
Because our games collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — or from any user — as those terms are used in the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and comparable laws elsewhere.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will investigate and delete anything we find.
Privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the UK GDPR give you rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to its sale or sharing.
We honor all of these rights in the simplest possible way: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access, export, correct, or delete on our side, and nothing that could be sold or shared. We have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not use personal information for targeted advertising or automated decision-making. You can remove a game’s locally stored progress at any moment by deleting the game.
If you would like written confirmation of any of the above for your own records, email us and we will provide it.
The strongest protection we can offer is not to gather the data in the first place. Since no information ever leaves your device, there is no server, database, or backup of ours that could be breached, and no retention period to describe. Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s own security, including your passcode, your biometric lock, and your operating system’s file encryption.
If a future version of any game listed above ever collects data — for example, if we add cloud saves, leaderboards, or in-app purchases — we will update this policy and that game’s App Store privacy disclosures before the version is released, and we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted on this website. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Questions about this policy or about privacy in our games are always welcome.
